Efficacy

  • Increased penetration by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, local anesthetic, and subcutaneous injection
  • Promotes reabsorption of excess body fluids and blood in tissues

Usage · Dosage

(Injection)
Adults, children, and the elderly
1. For subcutaneous injection (massive subcutaneous injection),
inject 1,500 IU (1mL) as hyaluronidase into the affected area before starting subcutaneous injection, or use 2 injection needles at the start of injection Inject into the upper tube about a cm. When administering 500 to 1,000 mL of infusion, 1,500 IU of this drug is appropriate. In children and the elderly, the speed and total dose of fluid administration should be carefully controlled, and in particular, care should be taken to avoid overhydration in patients with renal impairment.

2. For subcutaneous or intramuscular injection,
mix 1,500 IU of this drug directly with the injection solution to be administered.

3. Local anesthetic
Mix 1,500 IU of this drug with the local anesthetic injection solution to be administered. For ophthalmic use, a concentration of 15 IU per mL is recommended.

4.
In the case of diffuse rather than localized extravasation, 1,500 IU (1mL) of this drug is infiltrated into the lesion as soon as possible after the appearance of extravasation.

5. Hematoma
Infiltrate the affected area with 1,500 IU (1mL) of this drug.
The subcutaneous injection solution should be isotonic with the extracellular fluid in the body. This drug can be combined with commonly used infusion solutions. An example of using physiological saline injection, 0.18% sodium chloride 4% glucose, 0.45% sodium chloride 2.5% glucose, and 5% glucose injection for bulk subcutaneous injection has been reported.
Potassium is administered at 34 mmol/L in isotonic glucose or physiological saline injection.
Infusions containing electrolytes are more suitable than solutions without electrolytes and should not be injected too rapidly. This medicine is used in combination with morphine, diamorphine, hydromorphine, chlorpromazine, metoclopramide, promazine, dexamethasone, local anesthetics, and epinephrine.
